The Holon Region is inhabited by humans in search of Mew. Scientists utilized the unique magnetic properties of the area to produce waves of electromagnetic energy via a large tower in an attempt to track the location of Mew. The resulting electromagnetic waves caused the local Pokemon to mutate into abnormal types inconsistent with their genes elsewhere. The affected Pokemon came to be known as the Delta Species.

The first card above displays Mew teasing a field researcher in an area of Holon known as Mirage Forest. Some card art illustrates the strange magnetic storms of Holon, as well as the region’s interesting scenery.
